Oliver Ho comes with a wealth of experience in many different fields over 34 years vast managerial and consultancy experience at senior level from diversify industry such as Information Technology, Banking, Education to corporate training enables him to have the creative insight to develop business models for different industry.

Oliver Ho started his career in the Information technology and after spending 10 years raise to become the general manager of Prime Computers. The other companies he worked include distributors of Wang Computers and an IBM based software bureau-a joint venture with Cooper & Lybrand’s

Thereafter he decided to go on a new challenge and take up the position of Retail Banking Manager with Standard Chartered Bank. After 5 years in banking at Standard Chartered, he became the Vice President of Rothschild Bank Spore on private and investment banking to both HNWIs and corporate. He later return to Malaysia and was appointed as the Advisor to the Idris Hydraulic Group of Companies- a public listed company with 12 subsidiaries.

He now runs his own college of higher learning and consultancy; Institute of Global Management (IGM) and have managed to spearhead the college to be recognized by the Malaysian Education Promotion Council as one of the top 25 outstanding Education Institution of Malaysia in their 2001/2 publication.

Under Mr. Oliver Ho leadership he re-engineered Life Long Learning College strength to focus providing working adult lifelong learning. This has lead to open its door to SMIDEC under the umbrella of Ministry of International Trade & Industry to appoint IGM as one the leading soft skill training organization to SMI/SME to prepare these small to medium scale business to be ready for the AFTA/WTO open market place.

• Earn Top Money which has sold more than  9,000 copies
• The University of Keele (UK), Asia Pacific Marketing Manual and appointed as their faulty member teaching marketing at MBA level
• The 1st Unit Trust Manual for the Security Commission which as used a pre-perquisite guide for their licensing exam.
• Mr. Ho has also researched and published widely over 30 articles/papers in news media like New Straits Times and Star, banking and marketing journals
• Mr. Ho also co developed the 1st Safety manual for Proton Edar with a team of researchers

Oliver Ho has delivered numerous papers international at world class international conferences in UK, Indonesia, Philippines and Japan. In the field of corporate Human Capital Development, Oliver Ho specialized in delivering “The Blue Ocean Strategy”, Mastering Innovations and Customer Intimacy within the CRM paradox, Brand Equity etc.

Over the last decade he has trained over 2,000 bankers, entrepreneurs and managers in marketing, customer care to strategic management thinking and planning etc. Being acknowledge as the Management expert, he was interviewed by the prestigious mass media TV station i.e. NTV7 on 17th Sept 2007 to give his opinion and findings on application of Blue Ocean Strategy in the property sector in Malaysia. From 2009, he spearheaded the introduction of new organisational development program : PassionWorks!™ and Skil Certificate in Mastering Strategy; both are landmark breakthroughs relevant in the recent turbulent global economies.

In  October 2010 Oliver has been invited to be one of the keynote speakers at the esteemed Human Resources Development Council or PSMB’s national conference entitled “Gearing Human Capital Development towards achieving a high income economy” He shall present a paper on “Nurturing Innovation and creativity in your team". Also at this conference his book which he co authored with Dr Jarmo Lehtinen called “Mastering Innovative Customer Relationship Strategy” shall be unveiled!

Also Institute of Global Management shall introduce two cutting edge training programs from America called InnovationDNA™  and InnovationAudit™  as well as Strategy 360™ strategic thinking and planning programs to corporations from 4th quarter 2010. These new programs will complement the comprehensive range of corporate trainings that has been developed under the leadership of Oliver Ho since 2002.

As from July 2010; Oliver has re-engineered IGM and recruited new members to strenghten the senior management team.
